ARE YOU READY?

Good Morning everyone, I hope all is well. I’ve been watching emmanuel.tv (if you haven’t checked this network out DEFINITELY tune in, just click the link because the Lord is doing amazing things through this ministry and you will be blessed). The message that has been playing is talking about being ready for Jesus Christ when He returns. Tomorrow is never promised to anyone, and we cannot take for granted the time we have NOW to know God. If we are ready to die, we are ready to live. We have to stay rooted in the Word & Love as that is the only we we can know and establish a relationship with Jesus. Jesus said “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me (John 14:6).” 

Dallas Food Finds: Pho Xpress

I had the JOYS of eating at Pho Xpress in Grapevine, TX, and I must say, I am pretty impressed!!!

What did I get?

Pho Soup with Fried Rice ($9) and Spring Rolls ($4):

The Pho (“fuh”) soup was a nice sour soup with noodles and I chose the seafood meat

The Journey

I must say I’ve had a very interesting hair journey. Relaxer free for six years and counting & I thank God that my hair has SURVIVED all the crazy things I’ve done to it over the past.Right now my main focus on my hair is health (and not so much length). My biggest struggle has been having extremely dry hair as it has gotten longer

CROCHET???

Ladies do you ever remember the infamous crochet braids???  I’ve seen this style in the past few years return and emerge with a lovely twist. When I started college in 09′ this was my favorite hairdo. I love its simplicity, as it was easy to put in and take out, AND it looked very realistic. This is my current protective style (pic below).

BAKING SODA???

I have always struggled with dry skin and for so long, I tried to find the best products to help me keep my face moisturized and free of any breakouts. I’ve tried everything from facial kits to scrubs but to no avail. I wasted money, and my skin either broke out from the products, or remained dry.

Little did I know, that little box of baking soda sitting in my fridge was part of my remedy.

“Jordan and Jessica’s Story”

It is so amazing how God works. Both Jordan and Jessica were widowed shortly after they were married to their spouses. God allowed for these two to meet and fall in love. It just reminds me that our God is good despite our situations and that His unfailing love comforts those who trust Him.  And that all things do work together for the good of those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). You will definitely be inspired, I know I am. All Glory to God!! Love is such a beautiful thing!
